I'm not indian, but married to an indian, who's bengali, and that is taugh. When I said taugh, I didn't mean he's hard to be with. I mean to say, cooking bengali dish that taste like home-cooked meal is difficult, especially when my mother-in-law cooks very good, but lousy in teaching. I have yet to learn how to peek into her mind to understand and learn all these magic tricks.<BR/><BR/>Anyway, I made my husband khichuri last night with some onion bhajis. he gave me 4 stars for trying with a comment that it was the best attempt I've done so far with khichuri. I know, I know, you probably think that khichuri is very easy to make, but for someone who didn't grow up eating khichuri, and didn't know how khichuri should taste like, it's hard to get it right.<BR/><BR/>Please keep this website up, my little ones like bengali food.
