Lau, Potol and Summer Food

While it is only mildly warm in my part of the world, I know it is raging summer in most parts of India. So I thought of sharing a few dishes perfect for summer from my blog with you.

  1. I know i should make some of your dishes , went to a bong family for dinner and i just hoggeedddddddd so much food there it was so delicious, they had this poppy seed curry too but don't know it was with the same vegg.

      We get good potol for a few days in summer. But we have to be on the look out, often it is the old dry ones that are sold

    1. What is usual alu-parwal ? Sukhi sabzi with jeera tadka ?
      I love the dalna. A bit of ghee makes it so much better too
      The Doi Potol recipes was sent by my Mother, I am yet to try it

  5. The dalna is one of my favourites!! With ghee and gorom bhaat of course! :)
    These days I have been making the lau bodi and dudh lau with the chow chow squash Sandeepa. And it tastes even better than it does with lau! :)
